Notice this one also features women. Looks like Nissan is trying to change the gender dynamics of Electric car buyers. Good for them.

That won't get anybody I know to buy.

The ad seems to be targeted more at Japanese and European women.

The only 2 good commercials they've made for LEAF were the original "polar bear" ad, and the even better "what if everything ran on gasoline" ad. It's been half-hearted junk ever since.

This ad has been airing a bunch on TV here in Nor Cal.

https://adage.com/article/cmo-strategy/nissan-revs-emotion-latest-leaf-campaign/2174271 has the same ad but a bit more background info. I wonder how effective this will be in increase or maintaining US Leaf sales given that Tesla is decimating all other EVs/PHEVs in the US in terms of sales.

I also continue to see the Leaf on the TV here in Chicago. Saw Leaf commercials during a cubs game which I thought was interesting.

Leaf does have a window this year to nab a few sales while Hyundai/Kia does not yet have nationwide distribution or enough cars. Most of the other EVs are not really available out side the coasts (except Tesla). There are a segment of buyers also not yet comfortable with the Tesla sales model.

India, Australia, Thailand, Philippines all also launching:launched the Leaf, so curious if even Nissan will have the cars to meet demand.

I saw some articles from New Zealand talking about charging standard and as they get most of their used cars from Japan, and that includes an increasing supply of Leaf/Chademo cars.
