I envy folks living in places with robust new and used EV market. CA is a good 2000 miles from TN, so I can only wish you good luck on the sale. The black panels and rims make the car really sharp.

The prices for the dealer in Utah seem too low. Aren't they including the federal tax credit? $10k off msrp seems steep.

Thanks Jurgen!

Yeah SoCal is a good place in the States to be buying or selling EVs. The market is a bit soft for obvious reasons (new LEAF, new EVs, etc.) so hopefully I have this thing priced right now. Glad you like the panels and rims. Normally I would go with a +1 wheel size and a very tasteful lowering (performance springs) but this is an ideal situation for anyone wanting to return to stock wheels, or to continue with the mods. Thanks for the kind words.

Yeah, when they start including tax credits it messes with the perception of price. Even with this used LEAF, SoCal Edison will give a $1000 credit to anyone buying this car once they prove ownership. ;) Yes, used cars qualify!

--UPDATE-- Carvana.com is offering me $18,184 for this car. So, I'll probably roll with that, sell the car, sell the steel wheels separately to recoup the difference, and not having payments or insurance on a car for a while (I'm primarily a motorcyclist).

Well, ya snooze - ya lose.....prices there just went up a few thousand $ overnight but are still a great deal. I was (and am) seriously considering an update even though my 2017 S does everything I need.

That explains the discounts, I guess - no V-6!
Scarlet Ember 2018 Leaf SL W/ Pro Pilot
2009 Vectrix VX-1 W/18 Leaf modules, & 3 EZIP E-bicycles.
BAFX OBDII Dongle
PLEASE don't PM me with Leaf questions. Just post in the topic that seems most appropriate.

Not from what I can tell. They did lower the "msrp" and discount by equal amounts. That is actually a very good thing because it reduces taxes.

I got with this dealer in Utah to inquire about the incentives priced into their Nissan Leafs. The salesman stated the price is if you lease. So, there you go.

I am trying to find a good buy on a 2018 to take advantage of the federal tax credit, but there are very few 2018s left and 2019s are priced where I have to consider the Bolt (sub $30k for the base Bolt + the better options). My parents bought a Bolt earlier this year. I think my Leaf is more refined, but the 60 kWh battery and active thermal management are hard to overlook. :-)

What does that mean? The lease terms are based on that sales price or that is the total cost after the lease including the residual or ???

Seems like shady dealing but after all, it is a car dealership....

I don't think so. I was told in an email
New Car Internet prices are +TTLF. All rebates applied. Must Finance with NMAC, O.A.C. See Dealer for details.
