Ouch. I guess we will soon know what happens when the capacity bars are all (both) red.

The hilarious part is some woman in fantasy land alleges one can sell the battery on that 9 bar loser and the battery's worth "about $3,000".  How about nearly $0?

From the table at https://web.archive.org/web/20140505024 ... y_Behavior, 3 bars left probably means under 35% capacity remaining.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/4377412 ... 861364364/ has a 5 bar loser '13 in Texas. Unknown build month but at 110K miles now.
Same guy (initials JC) posted recently at https://www.facebook.com/groups/4377412 ... 101944706/ showing that he is now at 6 bars. From his earlier post, it seems he's in Texas.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/nissan. ... 636044657/ (closed FB group) shows a 7 bar loser (5 bars left) '13 at 67.5K miles. Guy's initials are FF. He's somewhere in California and his build month is currently unknown.

Just lost first bar. 34k km, OCT 2013 model, spent most of its life in France and the Netherlands, been 6 months since it’s moved in Greece. Guess didn’t stand the heat!

It’s been a month since I charged to 100%, only do 80% for less degradation, any chance this could be a BMS mis-calculation?

I got the car a month ago and did around 2000km since then. Do you think there’s a high chance that it was tampered with?

Haven’t plugged in an OBD adaptor yet.

Lost my 4th bar at some point last month (with around 57,500 miles on it). I'm honestly not sure if I should be following this thread or the 2011-2012 thread since my battery is the original build and not the improved build. I was hoping it would make it a bit longer before dropping that bar, but I'm not sure what the history was other than it lived in the New England area for most of its life prior to my purchasing it.

Is there a thread for people looking to dispose of their old batteries (to someone who's looking for cells for energy storage)? I'm looking for "wolf" packs and lizard packs on the cheap, but would consider the '11 and '12 down to 4 bars remaining if they can be had for dirt cheap?

Yeah, something along those lines, but significantly cheaper!! And I really just want the battery, so if someone is doing a battery swap and looking to recoup some value from the old cells?

.
I'm under the impression that Nissan takes the old battery in a swap. I think any cells on the secondary market are from totaled cars.
You might actually have better look looking for Tesla modules or packs since the cars are a lot more common.
