Boy you’re touchy. :)

I wonder if your sentence “Have some references explaining why?” Is proper or not. Would that be considered a sentence fragment?
There's an implied you. (https://socratic.org/questions/what-is-an-implied-subject)

My point is everyone knows what someone means when they incorrectly state kW instead of kWh. There’s no need to constantly point out the error.
No, we can't always tell. What's the point of encouraging incorrect unit usage? People who don't know the difference should learn it.

How would you feel about a car "expert" who answered questions like this?
Q: How fast did you go?
A: 80 miles

Q: How far did you go?
A: 80 miles per hour

Q: How much fuel did you put in?
A: 11 gallons per minute

See example below of a total cluster%#$%4 when someone didn't know what the heck they were talking about:
http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?p=565905#p565905

K-MTG who I quoted at https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/threads/anyone-tested-s-x-chademo-adapter-on-model-3.104109/#post-2470307 also didn't know what the heck he was talking about. He deleted his own post or something. We couldn't tell if he meant the power level got up to 50 kW or if 50 kWh was dispensed. He was also WAY off. The CHAdeMO adapter didn't work on the Model 3 until almost 2 years later.

There was this garbage involving nerys that I pointed to at http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?p=566027#p566027.

I can see your frustration when the correct unit of measure is not used... however it was very obvious I'm referring to storage capacity and not power output.

If I say "my Leaf has the 24 ... do you have the 24 or the 30?" I can even omit the word battery and it's very obvious what I'm referring to

Just like if I say ... "my truck is so bad I can barely get 14 miles" and don't say mpg ... you do not know what I'm trying to say?

That it's a Fiat/Chrysler and will only go 13 miles before it breaks down...?

Leaf is still running 2nd in Norway behind the model 3 this month. It’s been pretty consistent month over month.

If you look at 2019 (9.5 months of data) the LEAF is in 3rd place, and is holding its own against the i3
Watch what happens when the new VW EV comes out. It is going to be a Tesla/VW market ... with a bunch of also-rans.

Nissan is going to be wiped out in Norway unless they migrate to CCS.

So you find this easier than editing the post? hmmm???

I'm still fairly likely to buy my leaf when the lease is up depending on what a used Model 3 costs and how my battery looks in 2.5 years. It's a great car... reliable, roomy, comfortable, has nice features, and is a hatchback. If you aren't in a really hot environment and don't need the car for road trips then it is a hell of a value.

Agree. For all the whining I see here, it’s a solid little car with a lot going for it. And it’s a decent value for the money, at least with the incentives and pricing being offered here in Colorado.

Rumor that the price of the Leaf in Europe will soon drop.

^^^ Uh, Juneau, and why not? To quote the "Get Around in Juneau" web page,
There are no roads out of Juneau but many places to see within the miles road system. The longest road, Glacier Highway extends 40 miles north of downtown. The Alaska Marine Highway connects Juneau to Washington State, the northern areas of Alaska and neighboring Southeast communities.
While Juneau isn't on an island, it effectively is one where roads are concerned, and small islands are an ideal use for BEVs. That Juneau also sits on the ocean moderates the winter low temps (record low -22 deg. F. ) compared to inland Alaska e.g. Fairbanks (record low -66 deg. F.). Still, I wouldn't say a LEAF or any BEV without a battery heater is the ideal choice for Juneau.

The Leaf does have a small battery heater which can kick in when the battery gets very cold. I do wish Turbo would find a way to activate it at higher temps so you could use it a bit more aggressively in winter.

Here is another positive review, but nothing new or extraordinary defining.

Leaf sales in Norway accelerating. Over 700 in Sept so far. Yes the 3 is selling even more.

3x more. This month a lot of Model 3 Tesla production went to the Netherlands. 5000+ just in September. Not bad for a country with a population about 5% that of the USA.
