Will a LEAF power on and "boot" without a traction battery?

Question in the title. What do you see when you power on a LEAF (via the 12V) with no 400V pack connected?

Just a guess, but I suspect it's "All of the warning lights and no actual bootup."

I actually tried this. You get no temperature bars and no capacity/charge bars. Rest lits up, but doesn't start ofcourse.

Interesting. Curious if anyone has tried this on the 2nd gen.
