Carbondale got its first Level 3 fast charger in May which I think was the one posted as coming soon in Feb. This expands what we can do on the western slope.

942 S Monaco Pkwy, Denver, CO 80224 has one of those new 100kw evgo stations, when I tried it a guy was taking pictures of us for some reason.

On that one very oddly I only got 54kw, it was very hot that day so we had the air conditioner on while charging so maybe some combination affected that. EA typically gives me in the mid 70s. I did not note the battery temp or otherwise take good notes dealing with kiddos.

This is a map of future L3 stations the state is planning to put in:

You may get to this map from the energy office page https://energyoffice.colorado.gov/zero-emission-vehicles/electric-vehicle-fast-charging-corridors and clicking on site locations map. The text mentions the 16 (Dinosaur plus the list) they had hoped to get installed this year and the text up top mentions the 34 which you can only see on the map.

All of these are planned and not online yet.

Yeah, they've really been dragging their ass. Despite awarding all of the six? routes (IIRR, three with 5 and three with 6 sites, for 33 sites total) to Chargepoint in 11/18, not a single site opened last year, never mind Covid-19. Probably would have helped if they'd awarded at least one of the routes to someone other than Chargepoint even if the bid was higher, so they had some competition.

Frasier put in a ChargePoint 50 kW in November--the first quick-charger in Grand County! I'll keep it in mind for this summer's Granby trip.

It made the Frasier newsletter. It sounds like they're pretty proud of it. Way to go, especially for a pretty low-key town like Frasier!
