After much internet scrounging in 2009 on the topic of Lithium batteries and EVs, I ran across Jack's first speedster video. Amidst all the confusion, misinformation, preening and pontification strewn across the web, here was a dude who not only knew how to sort the wheat from the chaff, he had already built and was driving his own Lithium-powered EV. Back in the period where he was releasing a weekly video, my regular early Sunday morning routine became a cup of coffee and EVTV.

I didn't always agree with him but he explained much and backed it up. I also appreciated his dedication to the notion that he might be wrong, and willingness to self-examine.

This is value beyond measure.

He will be missed. He had a lot of knowledge and a great writing style, I particularly liked his blogs on Tesla subjects.
