I have two different charge timers that are on only a few days a month. I also ran into the inconvenience of turning it off for an opportunity charge and decided it was too much of a hassle.

AFAIK the timer override button works the same way in the Plus as in the other Leafs.

Timer override button works any time you turn the car off, open the charge port, and push the button: it will allow a plug-in for 15 minutes. I do not know if it will charge thru a timed cycle, or if the charger will turn off at the end time of the next timer cycle. Prob'ly says in the manual but after a year I am only beginning to find this stuff out. And Dave we drive maybe 20-40 miles a day, needing 6-12 Kw of charge approx., but now that I am figuring out the on-board timer it can be changed (or we simply run the SOC up or down a bit), at least all charging is off-peak middle of the nite so we do not add to peak demand in our area.

Anyone have any suggestions for getting the Duosida EVSE handle to more easiy pull out of the Leaf? it is a PIA- I have shaved the outer circumference down, lubed it with various things, it still pulls out harder than my neighbor's beautiful Chargepoint or the OEM Nissan....

Exactly the same but have to be inside the car to do it.

Left lower side of the dash, with the charge port open and steering wheel heater buttons. It has a picture of a clock on it, with "Off" under it, IIRC.

Evidently I am not the only one who has trouble RTFM...... yes it is right beside the Open Charge Port button.

I've been using 1 of 2 methods for charge timing:

1. Before I shut the car off I look at the time to 75% on the display....for example it might say 4 hours....I'll plug it in and set the timer for 4 hours on my phone. Timer goes off....I go unplug the EVSE.

2. If I want to charge over night, I'll set the car charge timer to on at 2:00 am and off at 6:00 am, same example 4 hours charge needed.

Works for me.

closing out Oct and 62kWh battery degradation holding up. Saw an SOH increase of .05% mid month. Also, have not seen a quarterly adjustment since 05/2020 (first anniversary).

Since the adjustment can be up, down or the same, you most definitely had it but didn't notice it. This would not be unusual if you didn't track your stats daily. If you saw an adjustment of +.05 mid month, realize under no circumstances should you see an increase since that isn't realistically possible. Sure older LEAFs bounced around but that had more to do with Nissan instrumentation than any real mechanism in the pack.

My anniversary date is Nov 16 but my Car's first year BD was most likely Oct 23 which is when my adjustment happened. It appears to be quite normal for the 5th adjustment to be zero or a bit positive.
