Does the 2020 USB-C port charge faster than the 2019 USB-A for Android Auto?

I have a 2019 Leaf with the USB-A Android Auto Port.

Does the hardware for the 2020 USB-C port charge at a faster rate or is still slow?

From my experience, no. But I downloaded an app so I can double-check this...
