So today I bring in my 2012 Leaf for the bonding plate recall.
They get in done in half an hour.
Do you think they really fix it?

Maybe not given https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10163711-9999.pdf and https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10163706-9999.pdf...

The plastic under cover is easy and quick to remove/replace. The ground straps are a total of 4 bolts to remove/replace. If they do all the disconnecting and testing, it might take longer than 1/2 hour (but not much). You might be able to see the new ground plates (and bolts) with a mirror and flashlight if you want to confirm the repair. According to the inspection/repair procedure, the flat rate time that Nissan reimburses the dealer is 1.1 hours.

Summary? I'd have to download and then open them in a PDF viewer.
Your browser isn't able to open them directly?

Firefox and Chrome for 64-bit Windows 10 can open the PDFs directly within the browser. I just confirmed it. I'm pretty sure Safari for the Mac does, as well.

Once you download a PDF, you can open a new tab in the web browser and then drag and drop the PDF into that tab. The PDF should then display in the browser tab.

You can follow this YouTube video to make Firefox your default PDF viewer:

Thanks, but that just gets me a blank page with the file name as the title. At this point it's no harder to just open the file with Foxit as I'd usually do. Plus, I see no way to drag & drop the file...
