From then in I have switched to economical cars.

One Month from my new plus. I am hoping I can find 5 miles per kWh at 55 with some careful driving.
 
I did 4.9 with my 2013 S driving in D mode. With my 2017 S I get 4.5 driving most of the time in B mode. I prefer B for the regen braking - I only use the brake when I come to a full stop. If I drove in D all the time no doubt my average would go up due to coasting - I use D for highway driving.
 
I am the original owner of a 2012, drive all of the time in ECO mode, & my lifetime average at 41,000 miles is 4.6. I will be getting new tires this week and am hoping not to experience too big of a range hit as I am down 3 capacity bars.
 
I've got a 2015 S, just under 25,000 miles, still with 12 bars. I drive about 500 miles per month in the Chicago suburbs, my average speed is just under 25 mph. Last July I started tracking miles/kWh monthly:

Jul - 7.2
Aug - 7.1
Sep - 6.9
Oct - 6.5
Nov - 5.6
Dec - 5.1
Jan - 4.9
Feb - 5.1
Mar - 5.5

I charge from a 120 VAC outlet in the parking deck at work, 2 - 3 times per week. You will often see me walking around with a big smile, as I am VERY happy with this car!

We are at 6.3 Km per KWH. Cold winters but limited use in winter. Hot summers. Probably 70 percent of mileage at 70 to 90 kmh. Still 12 bars but it’s only 3 years and a bit old. 2016 SV. Every month or so we charge to 100 percent and get about 190 to 200 Km range which is actually not too far off from reality in our conditions. Probably down about 20 km from new.

Yah that would be interesting to see. My guess is less than the earlier version as it is heavier.

Late spring update for us. 6.7 km per kWh. It’ll hang here for awhile but then start to head back to 6.3 as the AC is used more. Seasonal pattern for us.
 
Ok, did my first stock test on the hwy at 53-55mph. About 63 degrees at night. A few miles was on the propilot. 22 miles round trip. was about 4.5 on the run, which was a couple 10ths lower then I hoped. I adult sized passenger.

Around town, if careful I could keep it at 6 miles per kWh.

Has anyone tried taping the grill or other mods (beyond 44psi in the tires) yet on the E+?

4.5 x 60 kWh = 270 miles, which is still pretty reasonable, though would like to find a way to 300 miles at 55.

in 100% City driving, mostly flat
 
Two weeks in I’m getting 3.9 mi/kWh (god those mixed units...), probably 80% of which is from my 20 mile round trip commute on city roads with too many stop signs. Eco mode and e-pedal, and fairly liberal use of the climate control. I’m driving a 2018 SV.
 
My first few months on my used 2013 I was getting 5mpkw on bald max inflated ecopedias , the winter came and snow tires dropped to 4/4.1 mpkwh.

Been doing my best with this. There are a lot of hills where I drive though, and typically a good number of cars around me, so I try to drive ‘normally’ as much as possible. I’m a long term coast-to-the-light guy though since I hated converting gasoline into brake dust, so I do decently with that. I’m sure it’ll get a little better as I get more e-pedal practice.

4.5 m/kwh

Mostly in town, rarely above 50, often in traffic where I modulate and use regen as much as possible. I also do exercise the torque occasionally when appropriate, so not your grandma either. :twisted:
 
3.9 mi/kwh in the cold on snow tires. Not unhappy with that at all.

Summer on the stock all-season Michelins more like 4.3 or so, and I don't drive it like a baby carriage. Almost exclusively in town, suburb to suburb.
 
I hug the shoulders so tue baby carriages can fly by. I had one drive yesterday (mid 40s and sunny) of a few miles at 5.9 . It was all 30 and under, but love to see 5s back more consistently.
 
I'm in my third year of tracking mi/kWh per calendar month. For the last three months I've had my best results ever: 5.0 mi/kWh.

Admittedly, I'm avoiding freeway driving and heavy throttle use, and making minimal use of HVAC. I also run ~50 psi in the tires.

Impressive. Stock (steel) wheels? Are you running maximum cold tire pressures (44 psi typically)?

Another factor is how worn down your tire tread is. Mine are still pretty new.

You clearly know how to drive efficiently, based on your signature details.
