Hi All,
I received a letter from Nissan. They want to buy back my Leaf with 7 months left to term.
They will give me $3875 credit and another $2500 from the dealer.
The offer in the letter is:
Lease for 24 months, 12,000 miles. $150. No cash down.
The dealer gets back to me saying they added $2500 to the price of all new Leafs due to the shortage.
He will give to me for
24 months, 10,000, $160. No cash down.

Is this still a good deal, or if not why is the direct offer from Nissan for 12K and they offer only 10K.
Can I somehow make them honor the offer in this letter from Nissan?

Best

Dealers can set their own terms (either sale or lease) so buyer beware. Make sure the annual mileage is adequate for your needs because extra mileage charges can be really high at the end of a lease.

Some dealerships will honor the national offers even as they try to steer you away from them. Just tell the dealer that you want the terms that Nissan offered you, and if they refuse, walk away. Find a dealership that will honor them.
