I don't know what's more amazing: that someone actually wrote that much about automobile sounds...or all the details he discovered about EV sounds in particular!
One thing I wonder about: the studies about "EVs being in more collisions than ICE" were really done before mass-market EVs hit the market; I wonder what current data has to say about the same topic?

Those collisions are vehicle-pedestrian incidents in which the pedestrian either doesn't associate the noise they are hearing with a vehicle, or choose to ignore it because 'I have the right of way here.' We've all experienced those in parking lots, I'm sure.
