Apparently, from Googling for the filter (beauty glamour filter), it's being making the rounds on the net for at least a week. I watched https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2S8bvFGWzd0 from a week ago.

Bingo! And TikTok seems to be one of the worst offenders from a cybersecurity standpoint. I know the joke was made in this thread that it's Russian spyware, but if you get the country right (China), you're not far off. (I know these are hosted on Twitter so that's prob not really an issue here)

That's one loop I'm trying to stay as far away from as possible. Sort of like the Jonestown, Guyana loop in some ways, IMHO.

Don't know how much useful Intelligence Data, China can glean from "Tik Tok", but without doubt the all the other "Social Media's" glean large amounts of MONEY from theirs. To keep things in perspective, "Social Media" is only an extension of our own desire to "Gossip"...Think "Village Gossip" on a grand scale, but it makes it much harder to sort out the VILLAGE IDIOTS...
