DETROIT October 12, 2010 – Coulomb Technologies and Aker Wade Power Technologies
today announced the availability of their Networked DC Fast Charging Stations for Electric
Vehicles (EVs). The ChargePoint® CT3000 family of Networked DC Fast Charging Stations are
capable of charging the battery of electric vehicles in half an hour and are designed in accordance
with the CHAdeMO standard. Additionally, the companies announced that automotive supplier
Magna ECAR Systems is the first customer to purchase the DC Fast Charger for use at its
Rochester Hills, Michigan technical center, and will be made available to Magna’s visitors.

It looked like US dealers were only putting in L2 even before that happened.

Many UK dealers have been doing L3.

I had my Ecotality home assessment for the Blink today. I told the contractor that I hoped I would some day be able to use the QuickCharge port. He said that he was going to a meeting this week about an installation in San Rafael. Perhaps it's not just vaporware?

If anyone knows how to get or is willing to give up a Charjit RFID card to be used on 350 Green (now sold to CarCharging) DC Quick Charge Stations (manufactured by Efacec) please let me know!
