Hey guys,
just threw a new stereo in my 2015 leaf. Went surprisingly well considering it's the first time I've done any car stuff, but there's still a couple tweaks I want to do, but mostly it's wiring the stock microphone to the new head unit.
I have the non-nav unit model, so it's the mic in the roof, I'm not sure if that's also true for the model with nav unit. I also understand that the stock mic likely doesn't have a 3.5mm, but I don't mind terminating the cable to be 3.5mm.
Has anyone done this before? I've tried to look into it but haven't gotten any good results.

All the research I have done on using any stock mic for an aftermarket radio says that it is possible, but it's a pain. You have the splice the wires of the stock mic and wire it to the aftermarket connector
