additional US market automakers switching to NACS

We've already had a bunch of topics on this due to numerous automakers saying they'll switch + get access to Tesla's Supercharger network.

Major players w/shipping BEVs in the US that have said they're switching include GM, Ford, Volvo, Polestar, Rivian Mercedes and most recently, Nissan.

Admittedly there is the usual noise from people posting agendas rather than on-topic but this is the internet after all. I prefer the older thread because EV choice that considers DC charging is about more than the port.

Adapters Q1 2025, NACS receptacles to follow.

If VWAG jumps that'll be the biggest remaining shoe to drop, although with Porsche and Audi both able to benefit from higher voltage charging now that may be what's holding them as well as Hyundai/Kia/Genesis/Lucid up, at least until Tesla actually demonstrates V4 SCs can provide faster charging for '800V'-class packs.

Acura’s new ZDX electric crossover will gain the NACS setup in 2025 or 2026

The Japanese automaker’s next two EVs – the Honda Prologue and Acura ZDX – use shared architecture with GM, leveraging The General’s excellent Ultium battery technology. The ZDX will launch first, and have the traditional CCS port that isn’t compatible with Tesla’s chargers, but it will switch to the NACS design in 2025 or 2026.
