    Utah Public Charge Stations

I took a day trip to Ogden last week and used the quick-charger at Ken Garff Nissan Riverdale while I was up there. It was a good experience. They recently replaced theirs and it was also dual-type (it looks different and I drove past it on first pass), but I don't know if only CHAdeMO works on...

eBay dealer/crooks/swindlers & the like selling used Leafs

Nice article. I guess the battery type on 2014 (and 2013) models is pure speculation/guesswork? How long is the battery warranty if someone plays the below-nine-bars game? One thing I've found handy as I've been searching for used EVs is this link on Mitsubishi's site...

    2015 Lease

FYI as far as 2014 leftovers go, I wasn't able to get a good lease offer on one. I was offered $11k off MSRP to purchase, which would've been a good deal if it hadn't been an SL with features that I didn't care about (and the 2014s don't have the 0% finance offer so there was another issue). But...

Leaf Price / Discount discussion thread

The used prices here are all more expensive than a new one with rebates. I don't imagine they'll sell them, but I also don't know how long it'll take them to bring the price down.

    2016 release date

The potential drawback in that case is whether the $7500 federal rebate will still be on the table. As for current lease deals, they're not as good as the ones Nissan was offering a couple years ago at the moment.

Leaf Price / Discount discussion thread

The salesman I spoke with said that the current incentives were held over for the next month, so I think the $3500 is still on the table. No idea on VPP.

Leaf Price / Discount discussion thread

I was offered a 2014 SL (no all-view or Bose) to purchase for $25,190 (before $7500 fed $1500 state tax credit), or a 2015 S+ to lease for $2500 down, $199 a month (before ~$500-600 state tax credit). I'm not sure if I should take either of those or see what I can get the S for as a purchase...

Thanks for the info. It sounds like QC has a lot of improvements to make before reaching the point where it's a reliable solution.

Leasing a 2014 or 2015 Leaf in the San Francisco Bay Area

I don't live in the Bay area, but somehow got on Premier Nissan of San Jose's mailing list, probably while looking at prices around the country a couple years ago. They sent out an email advertising a 2015 S w/ QC for $99/month $2500 down. I don't know if this is a bait and switch or if the...

    Utah Public Charge Stations

I'm curious: Were these the same models used on the coasts? It seems like that the upside of waiting so long to get any quick-charge stations would be that the technical kinks would be worked out by the time they made it to Utah. That doesn't seem to be the case. Have problems been so widespread...

    2013/2014 Nissan Leaf Lease Information

Interesting — thanks for sharing! You didn't happen to catch the residual for 24 months, did you? Cheers!

Thanks for sharing. Nice to know they're working on it, even if nothing's getting resolved.

    Utah Public Charge Stations

I still haven't heard back from the city on those two, but according to comments on Plugshare, the Ken Garff Nissan quick-charger is also down, meaning (I think) that there aren't any chargers in SLC proper. I'm glad I don't rely on these often, as there seem to be problems keeping them running.

    2013/2014 Nissan Leaf Lease Information

So have the 2014 Leafs dried up in most areas? There are six SLs and one SV left in my town, and Edmunds says there are $10,500 and $9,975 lease incentives for the respective models, so $2,475 to $3,000 more than the federal tax rebate. Any idea how much additional the dealer might give me off...

Has anyone successfully used these quick-chargers? I don't use QC that often, but whenever I try, one says it's out of order and one says it works but doesn't. I always end up at Ken Garff Nissan, where I've never had a problem.
