Nissan dealership bricked my 2015 Rogue

    Fair enough, I updated it.

Nissan dealership bricked my 2015 Rogue

Well, progress is being made but it’s slow. Apparently the BCM and the ECM got fried when they tried to program the new Fob. I had to get a bit harsh with the dealership yesterday when they started saying how expensive it was going to be to repair and asked if I had an extended warranty on the...

Nissan dealership bricked my 2015 Rogue

I apologize in advance for the long post... A month ago, we purchased a pre-owned 2015 Nissan Rogue that only had 1 key fob. Since it’s a pain in the rear to remember to swap keys on a regular basis, last week I took the Rogue and the functional 1 fob we owned to get a second fob. After...

Driver window stuck in closed position, other window fine

I’m late to this window switch failure party but it finally did happen on my 2011 LEAF. Thanks for the part numbers and videos, they’ll both save us a lot of aggravation and expense. :)

Nissan "Out-of-Warranty" support for battery pack degradation

I will be following your posts about this. Just last week, I noticed that my regen was completely unavailable until I had 9 miles left in my current charge. Prior to that, no regenerative braking was occurring whatsoever. I do think the thoughts about colder air temps are valid, because I did...

    Chevrolet Bolt & Bolt EUV

I have a question for the few people that have driven or own a new Bolt.... That paddle/lever on the steering wheel that kicks in the strong regen and helps decelerate the car.... does it trigger the car's brake lights to come on? I've never seen this issue brought up in the various online...

    Post Your Battery Degradation Results

I would not chance it. 59,999.99 miles or less when it arrives at the dealership with 4 bars gone. Take a picture of the lit up dash showing both readings with your phone when it arrives. That's it. Don't even think they'll let you get away with anything more than that.

    Post Your Battery Degradation Results

This is truly the BEST part about Leaf Spy Pro. A year ago, I had to make a trip that I normally wouldn't even consider in my LEAF. I live at the top of a mini-mountain, and so the trip down used very little energy. But I knew the trip back up would stress the limits of my degraded battery. So I...

    DFW Metroplex

Here are my previous posts about my LEAF's body work experience, keeping in mind this was 4 years ago. And now that it HAS been 4 years since the repairs, they are still good as new and there are no signs whatsoever that I ever had any work done in the areas that were fixed...

Amended Settlement in Klee v. Nissan

As a newbie to the forum, you may find the Nissan LEAF Wiki to be very helpful. It was created through the dedicated efforts of many of the original LEAF owners, many of whom you'll encounter while you read posts here in the forum. Here's the link to the Wiki...

    Chevrolet Bolt & Bolt EUV

But will that really reduce the need for thermal management as the article suggests? I'm so gun shy now about the battery's ability to handle warmer temps after having the 2011 LEAF. Nissan lied through their teeth to us about the batteries being able to withstand hot temps and even did their...

    Chevrolet Bolt & Bolt EUV

http://www.gizmag.com/chevrolet-bolt-battery-range-naias/41277/ As an owner of a 2 bar loser LEAF (and rising), I'm not sure how to interpret this statement in the article: "Chevy has used a nickel-rich chemistry in the car's lithium-ion battery in an attempt to cut down on cooling hardware and...
