Since you know the car and it's history, and I'm pretty sure you can't replace it for that amount, I'd say go for it. Can you live with it for another 4 years or so?
There is a guy in our Facebook group trying to sell his 2014 SL in Kirkland, WA with less than 33K and about 90% SOH on it for $11K. He is moving and is very motivated to sell, too.
I agree with the OP, less than $13K is below market around here for a 2016 SV. I've been keeping an eye out for one, and they tend to be in the $16K and above range. There is one locally with less miles but missing a bar, and it's from this area (Tacoma).
I suppose pricey was a poor choice of words. I'd be hesitant to commit to a monthly fee for an unknown product from an unknown company with an unknown future.
Just a whole lot of questions would need to be answered for the average consumer to consider signing up, I think. I do applaud their...
MOD Update: Fenix Power appears out of business. They took money from customers but never delivered anything
I saw this on my Facebook Seattle Nissan Leaf Owners site this morning. Anybody heard of these guys before? Seems like it could be a little pricey at $100 + per month, but it is an...
I can't help with the 2011 model wiring, especially from a foreign market. You really need to find the wiring diagram from the service manual for your car.
The good news is you got the blank screen with the guide lines when in reverse, so you are halfway there. You need to confirm you have...
Surgery complete, and the patient survived. Pretty straightforward for anyone considering this. The biggest problem I had was getting the strain relief over the new cable; lots of silicone and twisting. I did not use ferrules, I just twisted the wire tight before I screwed them into the block...
I'm about to perform this exact same procedure. Although I haven't taken the case off yet, I think I can imagine what we are talking about here and wondering what the best solution is for crimping on some sort of ferulle for the L1 and L2 wires.
Not a lot of interest in this mod anymore, which I understand since all the newer models have it as standard equipment, but just to update my post and for anyone considering this on a 2013, please read my post here: http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=10107&p=533583#p533583
OK, I finally got my camera installed in my 2013 SV and there are several issues in this How To that need to be addressed before anyone with this particular car attempts this mod. First of all, according to the factory service manual, the 2013 SV without Bose does not have have an M84 connector...
You are probably thinking of EVSE Upgrade, and I had mine modified by them. It works great and is a viable solution. You can often find them used or find someone who wants to trade for your OEM EVSE plus some cash. If you own your home, then putting in a 240 Volt outlet is worth looking into and...
That's steep for an S model. Maybe even steep for an SV, IMHO. If they have your number, I would be surprised if you don't get a call in the near future.
I do appreciate all the input, and I feel a little better about my impulse buy now. I've been using a OEM EVSE upgrade for my level 2 charging for the last year which is capable of 24 amps, but not really built for it. I've also been using it through the garage door until recently, so I'm...
