Lease is up next month, Inspection in days

I never upgraded my 2012 charger and I purchased my Leaf from the lease last year. If yours is one of the original 110 chargers I would be happy to swap with you. [email protected].

    Aftermarket 12kWh add-on

Petro man will not be ending any time soon. If you want to hurry his death, then support a 300+ real world range BEV. That is what it will take. I was the first to order a Leaf in the state of GA and the second to accept delivery. I loved it so much I bought it off lease when the time came...

I agree, not everyone is the same. That is why we have so many different makes, models, and colors to choose from. Remember you can have a Model T in any color as long as it's black.

The car in american's culture is an visual representation of the owner. As a result the car must not only be functional, but also reflect the taste of the owner.

I'm so pleased with my Leaf, I bought it off the lease after the lease expired. (Dec 2011 second in GA ordered first but delivered second.)

It really depends on how easy it is to add the extra kwH when needed. Reference the Leaf, it is selling but not to the mass market. That's the problem. 200,000 world wide in five years is not mass market. 200,000 a year in the USA alone would be the beginning of mass market.

I do not feel they will ever offer a 100 mile range version as it just will not sell. Do you remember what happened to the 40kwh model S? For the car to become mass market it needs between 200/300 real world mile range. It is that simple. People who only buy one car cannot live with a 100...

Maybe not at first. But they don't need vision. Tesla has already shown them the future. They just need to follow. When they see that they can't compete with Tesla they will be forced to follow tesla's lead. Why would we spend the same amount of money, for a similar car from another...

Tesla could do this because they had a decent range to begin with. The Leaf does not. Even with L3 quick charge, you would spend 30 mins charging for every 45 min of highway driving. What sort of trip can you make with a ratio like that. Now with over 200 mile range you might reach a 3 hr...

    Anyone in Georgia?

this looks very promising but I've had my Leaf since Dec of 2011. I have now bought out the lease. So the white dragon is now Mine, all Mine. In any case, I have only seen one public charger (L-2) in middle GA that is truely open to the public. And that one is at bibb county court house in...

I have a question, I am not a lawyer nor have I memorized the Constitution, but I seem to remember a clause that states an individual cannot enact laws that restrict interstate commerce. It seems to me there is a case that this Law in NJ as well as the other states, restrict interstate...

I've been saying the same thing for several years now. For the Leaf or EV's to ever become common, they must have a honest range of between 200 and 300 miles.

I disagree. The Leaf could hold a floor pan battery just like the Tesla's. If it did I'm sure you could put 40 to 60 kw pack between the front and rear wheels.

I have been saying the same thing for over two years and have been criticized for it. I have long be telling people the sweet size is about 200 to 300 mile range. When people ask me about my leaf, I tell them it handles about 95% of all my trips, but only about 55% of my yearly mileage. And...

I disagree with you. I think the current business model can work. I was the first person in GA to put a reservation in for the Leaf back in 08 or 09. I took delivery of the second leaf delivered in GA. Someone in Atlanta got theirs a week or two earlier, even through he ordered is after...

Cars were allowed into New York to reduce pollution. Yep you guessed it. They wanted to get rid of the horses to reduce pollution.

I understand. Here in Warner Robins my Leaf handles 98% of all my trips. It is really nice, but on a yearly basic it only handles about 70% or less of my yearly miles driven. I'm just under 14,000 miles in two years. But I average another 5,000 to 6,000 miles for those other 2% of my trips...

I disagree. Larger batteries are more vital! Of course his statement about sizing the battery to fit the job is the most correct. If you can only have one car, big battery is a must. Even with L3 charging, you drive one hour and charge 30 mins before you can continue with your next 45 min...
