    Nissan Slashing Over 10,000 Jobs

Somebody has to pay for the battery issue mismanagement. Nissan, so you think you saved tons of money by f-ing over your customers (specifically EV adopters)? Now get the payout you truly deserved.

    Nissan Battery Replacement Program, Cost

I wonder if there is an official reference to this program online besides "this forum" ? From how many bars and miles it "kicks in"?

    The Battery Replacement Thread

Actually I am now confused. Seems like there are two metrics people use interchangeably here (as you can see above): Ah and AHr. There are actually 2 separate readings in LeafSpy: one in the "Table" page that states a number in "Ah" which changes with the state state of charge, and the one in...

    The Battery Replacement Thread

Just received a unit from http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QJRYMFC Here are the readings from LeafSpy after a full charge: 92.0% SOC 14.8kWh 42.76 Ah 393.5v 191 GIDs (68.0%) (2011 Leaf; Bay Area; 59,844 miles; 59 months of ownership) Any chance for me to loose the 4th bar within next...

    The Battery Replacement Thread

I am in Bay Area. So it looks like my first action item should be... stop driving and get Leafspy asap. I will post once I have an update.

    The Battery Replacement Thread

Have not visited this great forum for awhile, so I may be not well informed of recent Nissan updates and announcements, so I would appreciate if you bring me more up to date. I am sure i am not the only one in the same shoes. Basically I have 59,850 miles and 4 weeks till 60 months since I...

Help figuring out if solar makes sense for me

I could not agree more. Actually I started this forum from my experience with 1bog: http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=5967" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; The whole proposal reminded me a typical Timeshare sales pitch trying to sell me air instead of a product.

    Battery died, 1st time experience.

I had a chance to reach the turtle mode driving around neighborhood. So I have a kind of update almost a year after my previous experience of fully used battery. After the "Limited engine power" message I had to drive only a quarter of a mile to my house, so no service was needed. So this...

    Blink charger problems

Yes, unplugging for longer time seemed to work. For a few days - then it starts over. But at least I know how to fix it now. Thanks!

    Blink charger problems

It has been unplugged actually. Plugging in does not result in a "handshake", and pressing the charge button in the car does not start charging.

    Blink charger problems

I can't charge! The charger is in permanent reboot cycle. Power off does not help. Screen transitions between: 1. Welcome to EV Project 2. A minute long "Please Wait..." 3. A 2-minute progress bar (from 100% to 0) 4. Series of short "Please wait..." 5. Reboot, back to step #1

    Blink charger problems

Today morning I discovered that my Leaf was not charged. That's a second time I experience this kind of "surprise" in almost 9 months. Last time I remember I had to power-cycle the charger and set it up again. Today Blink display indicates "Charging Delayed". Not sure what it means...

Update On DCQC/The Electric Highway Along I-5 in WA State

http://www.seattlepi.com/news/article/Charging-stations-on-I-5-due-by-spring-2429053.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Are they building Leaf compatible QCs (CHAdeMO)? Also it seems like California is doing nothing :(

    iPhone4s + Siri + Bluetooth?

According to Apple, one should be able to press and hold the "Call" button on a BT device (BT headphones are mentioned specifically though): http://www.apple.com/iphone/features/siri-faq.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Having to use iPhones Home button to start (or resume)...

    iPhone4s + Siri + Bluetooth?

Anyone got the new iPhone 4s? Could you confirm if it is possible to talk to Siri via Bluetooth and car speaker system (i.e. without having to use headphones). Things like texting, dialing, e-mailing, etc.

    Solar City rep signing in.

Thanks Kevin, I think I have around 28ft x 10ft of gross space (but that including some obstacles like a vent hole). I guess that could fit an array of 10 panels in a portrait mode in a single row, or maybe more could be squeezed with three rows in a landscape mode depending on edge gaps you...

    Solar City rep signing in.

Hi Kevin, I have a very limited south roof space (and I am not willing to use non-south parts of the roof). What is a minimal square footage you work with, minimal system power you require, and efficiency of the best panels you sell?

    1bog

That's the point. There are two choices for me really: invest into solar or install a 2nd meter. How much did you spend on a 2nd meter installation?

There is a quite old topic related to this company http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=377" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; But I will start a new one since we have a dedicated forum now. To make a long story short, these guys have been trying to sell a solar...
