Star Trek Into Darkness (May 17th, 2013) (NO SPOILERS please

I actually liked Voyager. Plus Janeway was a great role model for my teenage daughter. Enterprise was ok but seemed so negative, especially the captain.

    New England Leafs?

Good to hear. I haven't calculated it but I should go through the gasoline bills from 2 years back to see the savings.

    New England Leafs?

Just got my 1 year battery check done at Milford Nissan in MA. Great service. I got all high marks on the battery check. Also rotated the tires for $25. That's 1 year of driving, 8,500 miles and zero issues. Still loving the car.

Jerry, funny about looking for the key. Now when I drive my wife's car I get a little annoyed when I have to get keys ou of my pocket. I have learned to love the keyless entry feature

    New England Leafs?

5,200 miles since January. No noticable heat issues. Almost always charge to 80% nightly. I'm from MA. I too doubt we will see any heat issues. It cools down at night to the 70's unlike AZ where it cools down to the 90's! No reports I have seen of CA heat issues either and it gets fairly hot...

    New England Leafs?

Jon, Congrats! Red was my first choice but I couldn't wait. I have just over 4,000 miles of smiles; no issues. I did notice that the LEAF has changed my driving habits to a more conservative driver. I find myself coasting in Neutral down big hills and trying to best my miles/kWhr...

That would be the SL. There's other options you can get on top of that like the decals, car mats, etc.

    New England Leafs?

Hi bmah. I too have not seen another LEAF in the wild. My wife saw one near her work in Franklin, MA. The familiar blue. Good to see more L2's opening up.

    How big is your system?

As of Friday 6/1/12 we are up and running with a lease of 30 SunPower E20 9.8kw DC. Very cool watching the grid meter spinning backwards! This should take care of 90% of our electric bill. We live in MA. SRECs and net metering should solely payback the lease in 5 years or less.

Now you have me excited about a possible road trip to Northampton! Update on my 9.8kw solar project - everything is ready to go, just waiting on the panels to ship. Once connected I will be generating 90% of my annual electricity use. I'm hoping the sales pitch equals true life experience...

I have not been to a gas station in over a year now..

I can safely say 'I' haven't put gas in any cars since jan 2012. I had to drive the ice a few times and have my wife fill it up!

    Connecticut get together

Wethersfield. I could probably make that using 100% charge and back roads.

I'll be picking up mine on Friday. Pretty cool these MA Electric plates.

    New England Leafs?

We got a free 1.5 hr charge at the 99 in Marloboro, MA this past Friday. Turns out we were not the first to use the station this time. A BMW plugs in once a week and National grid has a vehicle they plug in.
