    Recommended replacement tire

Yes, because I am a moron. I only just read Ecopia about 1000 times. I don't even know where Ecobee came from.

    Recommended replacement tire

I don't pay much attention to tires, I just know that at almost 65,000 miles on my 2013 sv the stock tires are due for replacement. I take it to the dealer every year for it's yearly checkup and every year they say the tires are still good so it's not like I am abusing the car and running on...

    Leaf Speakers Replacements

How do you hook up the bazooka tube? I don't want crazy bass but I'd like to have enough to really make a difference. Replacing the four speakers was straight forward enough but I don't have a sub to swap out, so how do you add one to the mix?

    Leaf Speakers Replacements

Over the weekend I replaced the four speakers in the Leaf doors with Infinity REF6522IX speakers from Amazon https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DSIKGJA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. I used these adaptors...

    Leaf Speakers Replacements

I just bought four Infinity REF6522IX speakers from Amazon, plus speaker harnesses and adapters. It looks like this thread is barely alive so I will try to update my progress for my 2013 Leaf here. I have never attempted swapping out door speakers before so hopefully it all goes smoothly.

    2013 SL heater not working...again

We just recently had the heater go out in our 2013 SL as well. We have about 53,000 miles on it. They had to replace the whole heater unit just like everybody else posting here. We purchased the extended warranty so thankfully it was all covered. That has been the only problem we have had so far.

    Solar Roadways, Worth a Look

If the whole road is covered in these things then who cares if portions of it are in the shade? The solar power is really just an added bonus in the grand picture anyway.

    One year battery checkup

So I just took my Leaf in for its one-year checkup. Am I supposed to actually receive the results of the battery test, or is it just something they say they do for warranty purposes? The receipt says it was done but that is all I have.

My Nissan leaf rolled off around 400ft

I can see how a woman may be wearing an outfit without pockets. If nothing else this is a helpful story for others to know. It certainly wouldn't occur to me that it could slip out of park when the battery gets dangerously low, if that is what happened here. I am pretty sure our Leaf has never...

    The Verge Leaf article

It looks like one of the Verge writers is a Leaf owner and gave his thoughts on owning one. http://www.theverge.com/2014/5/13/5695442/my-house-is-my-gas-station-and-so-is-yours

    Solar Roadways, Worth a Look

I have been following this company closely over the past week or so. I hope they get the funding they need, but with the amount they are looking for I don't think crowdsourcing is the best option. They need a company like Google to back them. But for the sake of argument let's say they build...

    New leaf owner

Over time you will learn to trust the battery percentage meter rather than the distance-to-empty meter. Traveling with the heater/defroster on and traveling +65 mph on the highway will use up the battery much faster than driving on a 70 degree day on a 40 mph road. Much faster. Still, this...

Post pictures of your home charging setup

So far I haven't had any problems with the Siemens. We don't really do anything fancy with it, though. Just plug it in when we park the car and unplug it when we leave. It just works.

    A British LEAF review

I disagree with the notion that electric cars are primarily made for city driving. The best use case for an electric car is to get you back and forth from work every day where you then charge it in your garage when you get home, then repeat the next day. Having a convenient way to charge it is...

    Future Leaf Range??

If Nissan made a Leaf at the 50k price point I bet you would have close to your range requirement, but they don't. One Leaf, one size battery. I doubt that will change. More L2 charge stations in your area are inevitable. Don't worry about that. L3's are a bit trickier. I live in Cincinnati...

    Future Leaf Range??

You will probably be waiting many years before Nissan makes a car with that kind of range. Tesla is breathing down their neck, though, so you never know. By 2020 I would love it if they were even close to that.
