Not being argumentative; I was just providing more detail for the thread. Given the number of recommendations for checking resting voltage on this forum, I think the idea of load-testing is something that a lot of folks don't consider important. I know I didn't fully recognize the importance until one of my batteries failed. I spent a couple of weeks troubleshooting (clearing codes and looking for drains) and things weren't making sense. I finally cobbled up a load to place on the battery while I checked the voltage, and BINGO the battery would fall flat on its face; mystery solved.
In fact, reading this thread reminded me that I should really have a dedicated 12V load-test; that's how I know the price as I just got it a few days ago
