I have been in contact with dealers all over the bay area and just want to make sure i am not selling myself short on the pricing. The terms are:
Thank you everyone for the wealth of information. I have been looking at leasing a Nissan Leaf S, and have been offered the following terms and wanted to know if I should press for better. The terms are:
Leaf S with QC and tint, locks, cup and edge guard (which adds $499):
MSRP $31625
I had the VPP $1000 below invoice.
Agreed price: $28315
$733 Service Contract
$310 Maintenance
$122.50 Doc fee
$126 Public Offical fees
$595 Acq fee
Money factor 0.00107
Gross Cap Cost $30948.47
24 mo/18 K miles
$1000 down.
Used the $8150 rebate from Nissan.
$8801.07 for Cap Cost Reduction
for an Adjusted Cap cost of $22147.40
Residual value $15180 (48% on 31625)
So $1000 down 24mo/18K @ $348.93/mo.
This is in the Houston area. Is it a good deal?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Is the residual value variable based on location? I got 50% on 24 months. That's almost $700 difference based on your cost.
Your money factor is about double the optimal, although I suppose that can vary with credit rating.
Docs fees are negotiable.
I agree - skip the service and maintenance especially on a 24 mo lease.
