We bought the Leaf in April of 2020 from a nearby Volvo dealer with 38,250 miles and the battery capacity down to 7 bars. We took it to the local Nissan dealer and they got the battery replacement approved under warranty right away. A few days later we had a Leaf with a brand new 40 Kw battery. We've driven it just over 30,000 miles. It works well for our needs, but it's strictly a city car. It will never leave the Phoenix metro area. We've never fast-charged it and we keep the freeway miles to a minimum. We have a level 2 charger in the garage.
