2018 Leaf (40 kWh Model) axle bolt thread pitch?

For reasons I won't get into right now I have an axle bolt that is a little damaged. I've got a thread die (M24 x 1.50) that seems to fit (visually, and turns easy enough) but I have no thread gauges etc and I don't want to go winding it on cutting new threads without verifying it is correct.


I just wanted to see if anyone can tell me the thread pitch of the bolt that goes onto this thread (It's the axle nut).

The part no is 40262-4GA0C

Hmm, the thread pitch matches what I’ve observed. But the photo does not.

If you check the attached image the nut shows a large unthreaded a section. This is where the stake goes in to prevent the nut from loosening.

In the attached link there is no unthreaded section.

Update - managed to do it. The thread pitch is m24x1.50 as per @MikeinPA’s post.
