I have a 24A OpenEVSE that is intended for use with a 240V 30A circuit breaker. It has an internal 30A 3AB fuse holder with brass dummy fuses installed. I have found that with our current hot spell the fuses ran at 190 degrees with my garage at 100 degrees. Setting the current to 20A was OK.
This is a Barbouri OpenEVSE version 4.2 main board. It has a L6-30 plug, a soldered crimps of a Rema Model Rev-1-30C Type 3R J1772 16 foot 30A cable , RGB display with RTC, GFCI coil, Potter Brumfield 30A relay, and a universal 12V power supply in a light gray off whitish box.
It will run at L1 120V 12A or L2 240A 24A. The Leaf max's out at 27.5A so it is slightly less. Although the current can be set in 2A steps to 50A the most a 30A breaker can use is 24A (80% of 30A). The cables are #10 gauge wire.
I am selling this for $300 plus 25 for shipping. Local testing and pickup is available in Anaheim near Disneyland. It is sold ASIS but I guarantee it will work upon receipt. I welcome your inspection.
