Batterie from new BMW i3 cost probably 7.000€

The german magazine Manager-Magazine talks about the new i3 of BMW, and say Batterie for these Car with 100 miles range cost probably 7.000€, are in dollar 9.191.
How much cost Leaf's Batterie? should be not expensiv like that.

The LEAF battery is believed to be $10,000, however nobody has actually bought one yet.

I had thought between moving production to US and some efficiencies, the Leaf battery costs Nissan 5-6K per vehicle now. I don't have anything substantive to back that up though.

I'll split the difference @$7k (ok, maybe a little LESS than the difference). The real question is whether that's cost or price; I'd have to say I can't imagine them expecting a Leaf owner to pay "retail" mark-up in an "upgrade/replacement" situation.
