I was reading reviews of the new Bosch Power Max EVSE, and one reviewer said this unit is not compatible with the LEAF's preheating, since it switches off and stays off after a successful charge. Can anyone confirm this?

That would make it incompatible with preheating after charging is finished, but not while the car is still charging. You could set the charge timer to finish just after you want to preheat...

I have the Bosch Power Max (30A) and have no issues with using the pre-heat function. I have seen it pre-heat both when I was still charging and when the car was at 100% already.

I try to time both to be finishing at the same time from an efficiency standpoint, but the Leaf S charging timer is horribly inaccurate. I currently have to tell it to finish charging a full 2 hours after when I actually want it to be done (it is far too conservative with its required charging time).
