Did I buy the correct jack??

Bought a jack on eBay from a 2008 Versa. I assumed the jack would fit into the notches on the lift rail, but you can see from the photos that the jack is narrower than the notches.

Other thing that concerns me... In the top photo, the jack head is fully engaged against the lift rail as far as it will go (any jacking from this point will start to lift the car). Seems like very little of the lift rail is engaged, doesn't inspire much confidence.

Is this the correct jack, or do I need a jack with a wider attachment point??

Be sure you are lifting at the frame brace rather than the body shell. My Leaf has a double 'c
' notch that the jack is placed between on a triple thick bridge.. I don't see any in your photo and the metakl thickness looks a little thin to lift a corner of the car. That looks like a nice sustantial frame raikl in the upper part of the photo. And yes that Versa jack doesn't look like it belongs there.
