So, I've been going back and forth with deciding upon the Eaton charger or the GE Watt Station.

I've decided on the Eaton Level 2 Residential Charger 240VAC/30A EVSE.

The GE Watt Station is much more beautiful, but I'm not buying aesthetics here.

Thoughts?

What are you aiming for, then? Price? Functionality? (if not aesthetics)

I like the holster on the GE. I like the lower profile of the Eaton. Both are good looking.

How much is the Eaton? GE is $1,000

I went with Schneider that is currently $800 at Home Depot. The white look blends into the wall better for me.

I'm weighing in on sales factor and customer service of the Eaton. City Electric Services(CES) here in Denver is amazing. I also live down the street from a factory Eaton office. So if anything goes wrong, I'm well covered.

I believe the Eaton is manufactured with more steel/metal than the GE.

The nice thing(s) about the GE Watt Station is its look; comes with a three year warranty. The Eaton is a one year warranty I believe.

I paid $1250 for the Eaton. 30A/LED Lighting option/Advanced Cord Management/Level 2. I need to find out what the optional utility grade sub-metering is all about.

Lowes.com is selling the GE for $1,199.00.
