Just got home with 21 miles range left, plugged it into my av unit hear a beep, no lights.

No timers have been set. Charged it at blink station 5 hours ago with no problem. Any advice?

Just tried the lev 1 unit that came with leaf, beeps once and no lights?

2013 Leaf.

Seems to have gotten worst, tried to start car and it flashes 21 miles and than shows like its at zero

So cant place car in gear, was planning to take wife to train station in am and than head to dealer but looks like i cant drive the car out of garage.

Update, car got towed saturday, they called later in the day and said they had codes and needed to talk to nissan rep

Got call from dealer Tuesday and they still waiting for nissan rep to talk to them, they stated car was charging again? But they still had to figure out the error codes.

After driving a Prius for three years and the leaf i hate driving a regular ICE, kinda embarrassing.

So still waiting as i watched two new white leaf's pass me on way back from work yesterday.

By "no lights" do you just mean no blue lights on the car? Or no lights on the AV unit or trickle charge unit that came with the LEAF? Assuming you just mean no blue lights on the car, what is lit solid and what is flashing on the trickle charge unit when you try to use it?

When i open the hatch the three lights blink, once i plug in the av unit or the unit the car came with , it will peep once and than no lights in car.

Are the lights i. Av unit are on correctly.

I checked the battery, the connections seem to be solid as a rock.

Took another vid this am, excuse quality was using ipad, link

In your video the car was plugged in, so of course it couldn't be put into drive or reverse. Actually, none of your videos show the green car with the double arrow under it. Without that you are in "on" mode, rather than "ready" mode. That is a sort of enhanced "aux" mode, and the car can never be driven in that mode. Of course this fact begs the question as to why you were in "on" mode. One power button press from "off" with foot on the pedal should take you to "ready" mode.

It sounds like your problem is inside the car somewhere, but I didn't get a good enough look at the lights to see if there were any hints there. However, I'll ask again -- if you plug in the 120v EVSE that came with the car, what lights do you see on the "brick" after the car beeps? And are any of the lights there flashing?

Hi thanks for advice. had car towed to dealer, they pulled some codes are keeping the car till they can coordinate with a tech from nissan.

I didn't notice any lights flashing on brick.

I really like the leaf, but I'm kinda missing the Prius atm, 3 years of driving two priuses and never had a problem.

So far with leaf, in 45 days of ownership it had powered down as we are driving 3 times, giving us low battery warning when car was at 80% and this present issue with not being able to charge the car.

Driving a loaner with gas sucks btw.
