How is the B drive mode actuated in the 2013 LEAF? I see in a picture of the drive-mode shifter that the lower position is labeled D/B instead of the old D/ECO.

ECO does not reduce acceleration on today's LEAF. It only remaps the A-pedal so that higher acceleration is more concentrated at the bottom of the pedal travel. If you mash it to the floor you get the same acceleration in either mode.roperld said:As I understand it B mode gives more regen than ECO mode but does not reduce acceleration, whereas ECO does both but not as much regen as B mode. If in B mode does pressing the ECO button on the steering wheel just add in reduced acceleration to the enhanced regen of B mode?
