You are cordially invited to Sustainable Novato's community forum May 21 on "Zero Emissions Transportation". There will be informative speakers, demonstration of latest-model EV cars Tesla, Chevy Volt, Nissan Leaf, EV hybrid conversions, bikes, scooters, EV charging technologies and coming EV infrastructure, and much more. This all-North Bay/Marin will be televised.

We'd very much appreciate your circulating our invitation to your listserves, networks and memberships.

As advocated by Sierra Club's new national "Go Electric" campaign (http://www.sierraclub.org/electric-vehicles/), EVs are clearly a winner when it comes to reducing our dangerous addiction to oil. Additionally, the electricity that powers EVs leads to less CO2 pollution than most other cars on the road today. And the cleaner the grid, the lower the emissions from electricity generation. So we need to shift to electric vehicles now, while simultaneously transitioning to clean, renewable energy.

If you've not already done so, please RSVP to Edward Mainland, Secretary, Sustainable Novato, and Co-Chair, Energy-Climate Chair, Sierra Club California, 415-902-6365 or [email protected]

See the latest in electric vehicles, hybrid conversions, charging stations and EV products. Hear from
experts and exhibitors about how electric vehicles are reaching the roads of the North Bay.
