Part of cold weather pack. Seat heaters and such
what is interesting is it is listed as 5kw

5kw is beyond the 16a 240 circuit and above the 3.3kw charger circuit so..........
Possible it uses a combo of the Japanese charger cords power and pack power,
or, in Japan if you have cold pack you must have upgraded EVSE
Now in the USA the aero evse would supply 5kw to the PTC and some additional juice the the pack for charging
no way the PTC would work on the trickle cord unless the PTC is capable of using pack power
Heating the cells but reducing charge.
