Leaf S upgrade to LED headlights

Anyone know the easiest way to upgrade the headlight bulbs to LED

I don't want to be "that guy", but don't you have to replace the entire headlight housing to upgrade to LED or HID lights? Otherwise the reflective light would blind oncoming drivers, right? I am looking to upgrade my halogen lights, but have been holding back for this reason.

A HID light "upgrade" would be problematic for that reason. An LED bulb that is the same length would be better. However, I'm going to try better halogen bulbs first for my SV with H13 bulbs, and will post the results.

Just completed this upgrade....best mod so far and relatively simple. Also swapped the turn sigs, corner lights and back up lights to LED.
