The cronyism rages on, now he's offered Verne Lundquist the ambassadorship to Sweden.
Yes, here is another left wing web site with the same "fake news":LTLFTcomposite said:The Tillerson story may just be more fake news from NBC.
Just like the Pruitt news ?LTLFTcomposite said:The Tillerson story may just be more fake news from NBC.
That looks like an interesting web site, thanks for the link, I bookmarked it. They seem to think the Tillerson appointment is happening. I wonder why Trump would pick a left wing extremist like that.Stoaty said:Yes, here is another left wing web site with the same "fake news":LTLFTcomposite said:The Tillerson story may just be more fake news from NBC.

Please note that I have never visited that web site and never will again. I only went there to debunk your "fake news from NBC".
There was a guy on CNBC yesterday saying that environmental policy and energy policy haven't been coordinated, and expects Trump to fix that. Of course if the fix is to disregard environmental issues that would be badcraig said:While I can see that a lot of the concern expressed in this thread is genuine, I also cannot help being amused by the rampant panic over events that haven't happened yet, and may never happen.
It reminds me of the Chicken Little story I heard in kindergarten: "The sky is falling, the sky is falling!"
Take a deep breath, step back, and wait for something bad to actually happen. Then open up.

Let me put this in a context that might help you:craig said:While I can see that a lot of the concern expressed in this thread is genuine, I also cannot help being amused by the rampant panic over events that haven't happened yet, and may never happen. .
That's what we did when Obama was elected.SageBrush said:Let me put this in a context that might help you:craig said:While I can see that a lot of the concern expressed in this thread is genuine, I also cannot help being amused by the rampant panic over events that haven't happened yet, and may never happen. .
Clinton won the election, and declares that Donald Duck will head the Dept of Defense and Goofy will be Sec of State. Will you just kick back and say to yourself "nothing has happened yet" ?
I'd never had any interest nor even heard of Breitbart "News" until this campaign.LTLFTcomposite said:That looks like an interesting web site, thanks for the link, I bookmarked it.Stoaty said:Yes, here is another left wing web site with the same "fake news":LTLFTcomposite said:The Tillerson story may just be more fake news from NBC.

This topic was started after Trump was elected and started choosing his Cabinet, and most of what he has done has been in line with what the liberals and Left fear. I think that you're confusing concern about the near future based on what's happening right now with panicking over nothing concrete. Waiting until something happens and only then worrying about it usually results in more damage that could have been at least reduced. Or, to put it another way, you can't keep the horses in unless you close the barn door before they leave.
Which of his four bankruptcies (or is it five) finally convinced you ? Or was it Trump University ?craig said:I continue to put my trust (at the moment) in Trump's ability as a businessman.

Trump is worth billions today; the bankruptcies were yesterday. The man knows business, and "the business of America is business".
