Hello,
Nissan Leaf offers the first two years of battery maintenance free.
However, does anyone know what happens at the 3rd year and beyond?
I owned the Leaf more than two years, and am curious what happen at 3rd year.

Thanks

On a related note, what happens to lessees who extend that extra year to three? No warranty other then the mandated drivetrain one? I've always planned to extend my lease that extra year, but if there is no coverage and my finances don't improve, I might lease a Smart ED this Spring, instead.

Nissan's bumper to bumper warranty is 36 months/36k miles.

Thanks. I should have looked it up, but TMIITC (the manual is in the car, and it's cold!). I think I was confused by reading about people extending a three year lease. Looks like I get that bonus year after all - hopefully.
