I got this 32GB Lexar on special from J&R a while back for $80. Prices are bound to come down. This drive is basically the size of the connector and works well with the LEAF. (I played MP3 tracks from it in the static LEAF at the DC drive electric event.) The little flip-up door on the LEAF center console sticks up further than this drive when it's fully inserted.

I got the one I mentioned in the first post. I'm still looking for one more but, $60 for 32GB is too much. $1/Gb is the right price for normal USB drives, mini ones probably are worth a 25% premium. So, $40 for 32 GB.

Yes, I'm spoilt because of fatwallet.

I had a 32GB Sandisk lying around for another project and loaded it yesterday. They are currently $22.45 at Amazon. I find the constant USB scanning to be a bit of a pain. Change sources, it scans. Answer a call, it scans again when you hang-up. Don't get me wrong, I love my Leaf! That and the forward/back thing are the only things I have to complain about the USB MP3 playing.

That's a good point. It does make it enough of a pain that I only tend to use it when there isn't much of anything else good on.
