Good news for Californians waiting on their Leafs. Looks like the funds from the California Energy Commission showed up. With funding for over 650 cars it looks like June and perhaps even July deliveries will get their rebates. https://energycenter.org/index.php/incentive-programs/clean-vehicle-rebate-project/cvrp-program-status

Indeed. I was logging the fund evolution since January. Unfortunately, the additional money is not as important as the $4.5M they added in February.

The green line is the remaining funds. Red is "issued". Blue is "reserved".

I thought that the CEC funds totaled almost $2M? Not as good as $4.5M but a lot better than a poke in the eye. I looked at the numbers early last week and figured anyone who didn't get their car in the first week of June was going to be out of luck. Happened to look at it again and now it looks like people getting their cars towards the end of June have a shot.

Do you know when the next FY begins for the CVRP?

You should be aware of the long running and well updated thread on this. There is a tracking graph on page 1 and updates are added directly from a CVRP representative.

Once current funds run out, a waiting list will be established. We've been told that new funding should be available around October and that the rebates will then likely be $2500 for a LEAF.
