So I've placed my order and was wondering about the following idea for "emergency" or planned long range driving. Anything wrong with this idea?

I figure about a 7000 rated generator with a 240 volt socket and a cable would give me a great stop over level2 charge when going out of range of public charge points.
Trailer - 200
Cable - 800
Generator 1000

$2000 = Portable Level 2 charging...

I could see adding a second generator and a breaker panel to get 440V use the fast charge plug... poof.. fill-up

Add a Tent and have Leaf Camping !

Thoughts?

Been covered a lot. Here's one thread: http://www.mynissanleaf.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3059

The only holes I really see is that the LEAF has a towing capacity of "zero" (of course zero is everything according to Nissan), and you may lower your range so much that you can't reach the campground. Seems easier to plan on a night or two at a campground with electric service (and showers!), instead.
