So has anyone been getting this mythical Leaf newsletter?

Maybe its publishing schedule is sometime within the next 4-7 months...

I've received 3 total. Oct 28, Nov 15 and Dec 16. I just finished my survey as well. Who knows when I can order.

No mention of my blog though.

As for talking to dealers, I've already sent letters to 30 area Nissan Dealers requesting information about the LEAF and get more courier-electronique about ever Nissan car imaginable except the Nissan LEAF! I just don't think I'll be dealing with them much after my purchase, though honestly I love all of them!

Then again, I'm now seriously considering saving another big chunk (like I am in 2011) during 2012 and just buying a Tesla Model S at the end of that year. I just can't afford the $5000 down payment right now (well I could, but I need that money to gain interest) and I want to see how much the 300 mile range pack is going to go for (my guess: $33,000 for the Roadster's 245 mi or $135 per mi; $49,900 will get you the Model S with 160 mi; for the 300 mi boost, let's use that $135/mi as a guess and say 140 mi * $135 / mi = $18,900, so would you believe the Model S at 300 mi range may be pushing $70,000? -- no way I'm saving that much any time soon!)

the question about owner meetings; would you like the dealer to run them??

oh would i like a corporate talking head to gloss over real experiences? umm, no. unless you drive a Leaf every day, dont tell me what you know from your training seminars unless its REAL information please
