Good afternoon experts. I took a chance to buy a Nissan Leaf Recover 05. 2012 after a flood. Now cars on the road by the sea takes 1 month road. How do you think the main battery is completely dead, or have a chance to revive? I know that it is airtight and water from getting inside the battery. The problem is that a long time has been without a charge and can destroy the battery. Brand new car without a run.

The cars we've seen come out of flood situations have been in quite bad shape. In fact, someone was saying that a flood car they bought out of auction actually came without the battery pack (and there was no notification of that fact in the auction listing). I hope the best for you, but I am not overly optimistic about what you'll receive.

I not hope that the car is in good condition and bought it for the experience. I love to dig the in car, and I plan disassemble it completely down to the bare body. The reason why I bought it is a condition of the body, looks like new. Seller assured me that Nissan leaf is fully completed as of the plant. See what happens when it comes to me.

Here is a photo of the seller

Brand new LEAF from 2012? If you hadn't told me that these were flood damaged from May, I would have said that this was probably a Hurricane Sandy car, but that was in October of 2012. If it is a Sandy car, that would be salt water they've been sitting in. Like I said already, I hope the best for you.

On a side note, I hope the best for you in this Ukraine vs. Moscow situation too. I love the Ukrainian and Russian people equally, and don't agree at all with Putin's desire to resurrect the Soviet Empire.

The seller said that it was Hurricane Sandy. No , This floods.

As for Ukraine, the theme was not created to discuss politics here. But I agree with you, that there are good people in both countries.
I can longer say that I have the opportunity to live in Russia and Ukraine. I have many friends not only in these countries and also has in Europe and one in the United States. I'm sorry that there is a situation, but it is not relevant to the confluences to my friends.

I care about the other question is, where can I buy spare parts for nissan leaf? it is desirable to use, as the new price is too expensive to restore, can anyone know a site for used parts / y Nissan Leaf?

Good luck with this project! Finding parts will be difficult and there are no aftermarket parts either. Your best bet would junk yards or salvage auction. I hope you get it running. Keep us posted!!

If there is a head on his shoulders and arms that grow with Correctly place and a little free time, then all turn out. My friend is a good electrician and I believe in our strength.

I'll keep you posted and take pictures whenever possible . Today the car and shipping are fully paid , and I expect the seller when he went to Poland and give the track number
