Okay, 2 of those were from 2011 when it was truly somewhat of a new thing, and likely the reviewers were merely shown a demo and didn't actually experience the pain and frustration of actually using the app on a daily basis. And the only real competition in that category was whatever app Chevy had for the Volt (and while I don't know what their app looked like then, I can say that in 2015 anyway it was only marginally better than the Nissan app).
The 2013 one is a bit more concerning.
But here we are almost 6 years on from those awards and has any new functionality or capability been added to the base apps? Even if only supported by newer model year vehicles?
