Slight hum/whistle noise when moving? 2013 Leaf S

I know it make a noise in reverse for backing up. The beeping noise to warn people.

However, I notice the car makes a hum/whistle noise when I start to move. It's dead silent while I am sitting there but then makes this noise when I start to pull out. Is it suppose to do that? And can I disable it?

That is the vehicle pedestrian sound and it can not be disabled on a 2013 without surgery...

Yes, but I find it hard to hear from within the car when the windows are closed. Someone standing outside the car toward the front should hear it clearly.

Yep, it works up to about 15 mph and in reverse.

The speaker is in the front drivers wheel well.
