Didn't someone mention that the J1772 cable assemblies pretty much came rated at either 30a or 72a?MikeD said:Has anyone have a good rationale as to why most of the Level 2 EVSEs have a 30a limitation rather then a 32a limitation (even though the 80% of 40a circuit for continuous (over 3 hours) use NEC rule would seem to imply a maximum of 32a is allowed)? Is it because some of them (like one of the Blink models) provides for a using a NEMA 10-30R receptacle that is limited to 30a?

I'd have to go read the manual again. I remember it being quite a bit lower than I would have expected - 25mph maybe?
