Does anyone know where the Speedo sender is located in a G40?

What's a G40? If it's a model of Leaf (eg 40Kwhr JDM model with 'G' trim spec) then all four wheels each have their own sensor. Their individual readings are all available multiplexed onto the CAN bus.

It may not be on the hubs themselves for the front ones at least because they have axels (so it could be deeper in). I can't answer your question directly, but I do recommend reviewing the ZE1 service manuals as they will show the locations and also how to remove them (if possible).
