We're looking into getting a set of snow tires on their own wheels for our Leaf - the question is whether to get a new set of TPMs (Tire Pressure Monitor) for the spare set. We can go without, but I am wondering if anyone knows how annoying the missing sensor (or low pressure) warning is (and would be on a daily basis)? Is it something that comes on once when starting the car, or continually while driving?
Les Schwab said it would likely be around $80 each, so if we could do without (but not go out of our minds) it would be a substantial savings.
Thanks,
Greg
